Live on Queen Street is Blueprint Studios monthly night, featuring our favourite brains in music, poetry and comedy.

We’re celebrating and exploring the human condition through creativity under a manifesto that aims to invigorate and provoke.

Expect beauty, dissent and cachinnation in the candlelit intimacy of Manchester’s legendary Blueprint Studios.

Libations of the alcoholic, and non-alcoholic variety will be on sale throughout the evening. Cash & card accepted.

Granfalloon - The musical project of Manchester based songwriter and producer Richard Lomax. The music is a hybrid of lo-fi storytelling folk, experimental music, and electronica – creating intricate compositions.

Granfalloon has received praise from the likes Richer Sounds and Q Magazine who hailed the outfit as Artist Of The Week respectively, not to mention garnering consistent radio support from BBC Introducing in Manchester (who recently premiered new single ‘The Elephant’).

No strangers to big stages, Lomax has been invited to play shows alongside the likes of We Are Scientists, Frightened Rabbit, Emma Pollock, and The Wave Pictures. Last year was a Summer of high profile festival shows including Dot To Dot and Bluedot, plus a European tour that has seen the band play to the crowds of the UK, Germany, Belgium, France, and Italy.

Check out Granfalloon’s acclaimed debut LP ‘Down There For Dancing’ in 2017 and its follow-up: ‘RGB’ (or Red Green Blue) released in October of 2019.

Honey We Three - Lay your head down in the meadows and let the heady folk harmonies wash over you. Inspired by American folk and traditional Irish music, this captivating blend of intricate harmonies and soothing rhythm of double bass leaves the soul refreshed.

Dilettante - An art-rock collective led by multi-instrumentalist Francesca Pidgeon and is based in Northern England. Primarily a singer and guitarist but, owing to a lack of social skills, she has also taught herself piano, saxophone, clarinet, bass and trumpet and spends the majority of her sets looping some configuration of these instruments.
